A Connection to Hope
When a teen needs to talk, they often turn to a friend for support. That’s why Teen Lifeline trains teens to talk to other teens about their problems. Our peer-to-peer hotline gives them a safe place to connect with someone they can relate to.
Teen Lifeline is a free, confidential, anonymous hotline for teens. Peer Counselors are available by call or text from 3-9pm every day. Thanks to a partnership with Solari, our hotline remains open 24/7.
A Safe Place to Talk
Teen Lifeline has been accredited by the American Association of Suicidology since 2003 and by the International Council of Helplines since 2021. All calls and texts are supervised by Master’s-level clinicians to ensure the safety of our callers and volunteers.
What Can I Call About?
At Teen Lifeline, we believe anything can be a crisis. Teens call into our hotline for many reasons. 1 in 3 of our calls and texts are from someone who is thinking about suicide. No matter what you want to talk about, we’re here for you.
