Real Stories from the Hotline

95% of teens feel better after talking with a teen peer counselor.

As the only peer-to-peer counseling hotline in Arizona, we provide a connection of hope teens are often desperate to find. Our 24-hour free and confidential peer counseling crisis hotline/textline is answered by trained teen volunteers 3 – 9 p.m. daily and supervised by master’s level clinicians.

Considering 1 in 3 hotline calls/texts are from a teen with thoughts of suicide, every call and text to our hotline may end up saving a life. Every text on this page is a true story, quoted from a real teen that found hope and understanding with a peer counselor.

You can help save lives.

The hotline is a 100% free service—and will always be free—because of the support of donations, grants, and other financial support.

$100 funds a hotline text conversation. Texting is especially important for teens in environments they can’t speak freely—like school or, for some, home—because they can text to reveal their struggles.

$250 funds a hotline call. 1 in 3 calls is from a teen considering suicide.

$2,500 funds the training of a new teen peer counselor. Each peer counselor answers 400+ calls/texts from struggling teens each year.

Plus, if you donate before April 15th, you can claim that donation as a tax credit on your 2020 taxes.
