Third-party fundraisers are a great way to involve friends, family, and colleagues in the causes you care about. These fundraisers can be planned by anyone—community clubs, PTAs, businesses, and any individual passionate about teen suicide prevention. Whether it’s a chic bruncheon, a fitness event, or a special concert, there’s a number of directions you can take when hosting your own fundraising event.

If you share our vision of a world where all youth feel hope for their future and are passionate about our mission to prevent teen suicide, holding a fundraiser is a great way to help us raise the funds we need to continue our work! You have access to a whole network of people that may never have heard about Teen Lifeline otherwise, making third-party fundraisers and the change makers who host them truly invaluable to Teen Lifeline.

No amount is too small—every dollar that you raise will be used to support teen mental health and suicide prevention across Arizona.

Yes, you can designate a specific program or purpose that you’d like to raise funds for, or you can allow Teen Lifeline to use the funds wherever they are needed most. Either way, your dollars will support our mission to prevent teen suicide in Arizona through enhancing resiliency in youth and fostering supportive communities.

Yes. As a 501(c)(3) charity, Teen Lifeline is a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO code 20695). Donations made to Teen Lifeline qualify donors for a dollar-for-dollar tax credit up to $841 ($421 if filing single) on your Arizona State Tax Return.

This credit is in addition to those you can receive for other Arizona Tax Credits (check with your tax advisor for additional information).

Whenever possible, we will send a representative from Teen Lifeline to the event if requested. We may even be able to provide limited resources or volunteer support, but it isn’t guaranteed. The earlier you reach out, the more likely it is we’ll be able to support you in this way!

Whenever possible, we will share about third-party fundraisers on our social media. Tagging Teen Lifeline on social media when posting about your event and emailing photos/videos of your event to us will make it more likely we’ll post about your event. Events and content related to an event must abide by our brand guidelines for Teen Lifeline to share it.

Each donor who gives $500 or more this calendar year will be recognized by name on our website at teenlifeline.org/donors. Donors who give $1,000 or more will also be named in our annual Impact Report.
